Cosmic Love 2025 - Get ready!

earthandskyway

Yesterday, (Feb 4th), Jupiter, our inner guide, transitioned from retrograde to direct motion. After 4 months of introspection and reflection, we feel ready to move forward with the wisdom we have gathered, knowing what matters most to us. Here, we find ourselves ready to take significant next steps with a project that inspires us, leaning into our higher selves with renewed purpose.

Jupiter is in Taurus (Venus’ sign), engaged in a unique 4-month exchange with Venus who is exalted in Pisces (Jupiter’s sign). This is a wonderful yet complex exchange between the 2 Gurus; Jupiter being the Guru to our divine nature and Venus being the Guru of our earthly pleasure driven nature. Our higher and lower qualities are needing to work through this complexity with one another.

The 2 Gurus do not see eye to eye and are not focused on the same things;

Ideally, our Venus self would enjoy the fruits of desire without attachment and possession and would surrender to our higher Jupiterian qualities, living an earthly life rooted in the journey towards transcendence. In this way, Venus supports our focus and commitment to our spiritual growth with understanding that everything in life is temporary. But of course, we are not all saints and are dealing with varying degrees of desire, determined to find idealized love, which is never realistic. We romance, feel dreamy in the honeymoon phase, and before we know it, we transition to disappointment and heartache when we realize our person is not our perfect fantasy.

Why not add a shadowy twist to this story? Venus is also hanging out with some naughty company, Rahu, our ambitious, excessive, driven, hungry self who can exaggerate our illusions of love, lead us into blind indulgences and justify anything…  so we are in for a wild ride when it comes to love and spirituality right now.

Yet, our experiences during this transit will depend largely on our vibrational frequency. At a low frequency, associated with a tamasic state, we may find ourselves caught up in negative patterns and obsessions. If we oscillate at a rajasic frequency, we might become overly influenced by others—projecting idealized versions of soulmates or twin flames onto those around us, placing undue pressure on our relationships.

The combination of Rahu and Venus brings an intensity of attraction that may draw us toward unconventional desires. This potent combo can blur our perception, leading us to fantasies that distract us from our true selves. It’s crucial to navigate this transit with awareness, as the excitement it generates can easily overshadow our groundedness.

Conversely, at a higher, sattvic frequency, we gain a deeper understanding of love partnerships and marriage. Here, two individuals stand side-by-side, accepting and celebrating each others differences, and supporting one another in their respective spiritual journeys. Attaining this level of consciousness in relationship requires dedication, patience and commitment to spiritual practices, and the rewards are profound.

To make the most of this dynamic energy, it's essential to engage in spiritual teachings and maintain daily practices. Embrace the creativity that this period inspires; it’s a fantastic time for artistic expression through music, poetry, and all forms of art. Revel in the beauty of nature and connect deeply with loved ones, allowing your heart to overflow with love.
